Added a new fiber glass hood, bigger rear tires and mud flaps. I think it came out pretty nice. At least for my taste. The hood was done in satin black and only 40% shine so it would blend with the chin spoiler, vinyl top, rear louver and wing. Not for the purest I'm sure :nana:.

I think it looks great! I'm not a 3rd gen guy either.

You know ...... I'm an old school "purest" guy, that mod you did would have been exactly what someone would have done in the 70's with your car from the factory!

So .....I think you went "Old School", really.  :yesnod:

I like it!

Bob

Thank you both for the kind words. You are right, I am old school.
Thanks again.

To me, the scoop conflicts with the classy appearance of the SE package, but as long as you are happy, that's all that matters. Nice looking ride.

I think if the SE emblems were not on the sides it would blend a little better.
Thanks all.

Bob

Ps..black steelies would be the next thing. I am a dreamer.

Slot Mags would be Old School.

Seen a few sets for sale but the condition is always a turn off.

Bob, where did you get that thing?   JC Whitney or a garage sale?   ;)

If I bring you a PBH, will you take that thing off your car?     :pity: :pity:

I like the overall look of the car and certainly the hood, however IMO mud flaps are for rigs not for cars, but i can understand the old scool look of them....
Greetings from Belgium, the beer country

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

Thanks. I kept getting stone chips so I decided to do the mud flaps instead of having to spend the bucks on the repair.

After mending some relationship problems with my son as you recall, the Charger will be his someday. When I found the hood for sale here on DC.Com I showed it to him and he liked it. The hood was brand new and never mounted. I ran up to Ohio and picked it up for less than a third of the price of a new one. I like old school and he thought it was cool also for being 25. I got it prepped, painted and installed. So, no thank you on PBH, we are very happy with the look.
Thanks my friend.

Bob, I like it.  :2thumbs:

Thank you Jackie.

For now I have stuffed a cover off of a folding chair with a old sheet and use it if it rains. It is for emergencies any ways and cant scratch my paint.

My twin . Great looking Green Charger :2thumbs:. The louvers were given to me by a good friend who decided he did not like them after he bought them. They are made of aluminum. Would love some craigers.
