I'm looking at a new '11 half ton shortbed Ram.

Anybody know of any deals from Mopar going on right now?

Rebates?

Cheap Financing?

50ยข Off coupons?

I know this is a dodge forum, but can I ask why the Ram instead if the Ford super duty. Ive always driven a ford diesel and yes I have the notorious 6.0 but i still love it and it has never let me down, just have to know how to take care of it.

Now the new 2011 ford makes more HP and Torque than the ram, also has more towing and payload capacity

Dodge 5130 pounds of payload and 17,600 pounds of towing

Ford 6,520 pounds of payload and 24,400 pounds of towing

both of these numbers are from the manufactures themselves.

now on to the actual truck itself and not the engine, the ford has always had a more solid truck that chevy or dodge. dodge has the death wobble and chevy has the IFS that has no place in heavy duty trucks

just my opinions, both the ford and doge are top notch trucks, you cant go wrong either way unless you get a chevy.

You are comparing the 4500 to the 3500.    That Super Duty that can tow 24400  is not the basic work truck package.  Ford also has a 5th wheel tow rating and a conventional tow rating. Not every 4500 has the 24400.

You could have saved yourself all of that typing if you would have actually read the first line of my post:
