Does any one have any experiences with this kit on a stock 1969 440 lower end ?

it looks like a good option to get some good street power

Way to bring up a dead post...     Damn Oct 2009 ?  haha

the only downside to the edelbrock kit is the cam they supply...      The heads and intake are great ---  the carb...   good - you'll hear a lot of people argue a holley is better but I've run Edelbrocks with great results....

The cam they give you flat out flows...    there are a lot better designs out there that make better numbers - the Performer RPM cam and Performer cam have really low ramp speeds and use a lot of duration to get mediocre lift...

I'm sure Ron will reply with his opinions along with many others

You can probably buy everything separately, spec'ing out your own carb and cam, doing some bargain hunting in the process and be bucks ahead with a better performing combination.
