"The fever"

Anyone ever want something so bad they get a fever for it? You wake up in the middle of the night with images fresh in your mind, heart racing, and feeling hot  like you have a fever? 

I used to get it when I was younger. But a few weeks ago I got "The fever" really BAD for a 1968-70 Dodge Charger. I spent an average of 2 hours a day looking on the internet every day for a Charger. I spent hours looking through old photo's just to see if I could find some photo's of the 68 Charger I sold almost 10 years ago. Every chance I got I would ask people at work if they knew anyone that was selling a 68-70 Charger.I NEVER got it that bad when I was younger. But there was no internet when I was younger either.

I feel much better now that I have one. I think Im cured. Now maybe I can sleep in peace! Who am I kidding? Ive got DMCL Charger to build!

I think it's called Obesesssive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).  It can be treated with medication.

However, in your case,,,I think they might say you are "self-medicating".

You left out waking up with a raging boner. This is normal for all men, but for real men (like me), the thoughts running through their head are about women, not cars. My suggestion is to use your left hand; it makes it feel like someone else is doing it for you.
