I bought a carb, and was told it was off a 1970 Dodge Charger, its a Holley 4-barrel
But is there a way to check and make sure it came off a charger?
And what size engine?
Possibly what model also?

Thanks a bunch!

In a '70 Charger only the 383 used Holleys.

The LIST number is stamped in the front of the air horn; could have used an R4736, R4738 or R4739.

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Looks like a 600 cfm model 4160 used in 1966 on 360 HP 396 Chevelles with standard transmission. The Chevy boys may want it if it has good dates. Maybe try a Chevelle forum.

You're looking in the wrong place, look for the number stamped in the verticle front of the air horn preceded by the word LIST, if it is from a '70 383 the list number will be 4736, 4738 or 4739.
