This Mustang was a carbon copy of the first muscle car I had ever gotten a ride in when I was about 15 years old. Same color, shaker hood, louvers, & stripes. A friend of mine who was a few years older had one, a 428 Cobra Jet with a 4 speed. I got a hell ride in it & was hooked on going fast after that.  :D

Okay, this was a Dodge Magnum Station Wagon.  :o   I like the work he did, but the color isn't my favorite. Must have a lot of hours into this thing.

On the way home it rained hard for about 5 minutes. I caught up to a line of cars that I had hoped to get a better shot of since you don't see these things on the road in the rain much. There was the Chevelle convert you see here, & in front of him was a late 60's Vette, a blue '68 Charger that I posted earlier, & a mid 60's GM that I think may have been a Buick Skylark.

That's all.

On the way home from the show I had passed a local car cruise that was pretty deserted. I wonder if the dozen or so cars there knew about the Rhinebeck show.  :shruggy:

I saw that Magnum wagon last fall at the show at Mills Mansion (do you go to that one?). I couldn't quite figure it out, but it attracted a lot of attention...

LOVE the Henry J gasser!!   :drool5:

This is the first year I missed it in many years.  :'(  Thanks for posting.  :2thumbs: I feel better now.

Sorry you missed it, I know how that goes. I used to go every year to the Mopars at Englishtown show until my daughter was born. Her birthday fell directly on the same weekend of the show that year, & it was the first one in 12 or 13 years I missed. My wife went into labor early one morning right before the weekend & was in the hospital all that weekend of the show. When I was at the hospital that Saturday morning, I said to her, "You look fine, so I'm going to head down to E-Town & will see you tomorrow."  :D

She gave me a funny look but knew I was joking.

No pictures of the Aerodrome?
That's on the other side of town...though usually all day long at this show there's an old bi-plane flying over giving rides from the Aerodrome. A '29 New Standard I think.

Everybody knows about the Goodguys show...  can't help it with all the stupid commercials on the radio.    Everybody also knows it's a ripoff.    $75 car / driver for the weekend.     Only 1 day ( Sunday ) is $40.    Therefore... whoever goes is generally big money / tourists   :icon_smile_big:

Even if I didn't have to work this last weekend I wouldn't have gone.

Everybody DOES go to the dustoff show at Rhinebeck the first weekend of May where it's only $15 a day... $10 when preregistered.

The Magnum wagon and the Henry J come to the Port Ewen Friday night cruise.
Black Betty:  1969 Charger R/T - X9 440 six pack, TKO600 5 speed, 3.73 Dana 60.
Sinnamon:  1969 Charger R/T - T5 440, 727, 3.23 8 3/4 high school sweetheart.
