need to run plug wires

I have 2" TTI headers and Eddy heads. What is a good plug wire combo and where is the best place to route the wires in from. My engine guy got confused with this and just routed them over the valve covers and burned one at the dyno. He builds alot of Chevy stuff and is not sure where to take the wires. I thought that they should drop under the headers from the front of the block but I have not had a chance to see the engine yet. Any ideas before I go down there would be great.

I have 2" Hooker SuperComps, stock heads and intake.  Here's how mine are.  I'll try and take better pictures later today.  Your question made me realize I don't have many close-up pics of my engine compartment, only a few shots like this.  Oh, and I used these plug boot covers to protect them from the heat of the headers.  They come in lots of colors, I got black to match my wires.

On big blocks with headers, I've had really good luck running the wires inboard of the valve covers for the back 4 cylinders, and bringing the front four around the front side. Using 45/135 degree boots works best.

yep the 45 & 135 degree boots or adjustable boots, with some kind of heat shielding to protect the boots & wires, also lots of wire separators to keep them from contacting the headers........Good luck....

I'd have to dig, but I don't think I have any really good engine pics on that car. Don't own it anymore. I've done a couple cars like that though. Works good with factory HiPo manifolds too. The 135 boots are the key though, even if you use a factory routing.

Those are Made-4U Products wire looms. I custom spec'd a kit ordering directly from the factory.

Thanks guys, I will be gettig my engine back and working this out. I like the covers that Ron hooked elecruze up with. I never gave it much thought untill it was done. Love this site! Thanks again!
