69 charger grill frame color

what color should i paint my 69 charger grill frame? i just got it from a.m.d. and its black, should i primer it with ppg primer and then shoot it with hot rod black (satin) or use ppg single stage high gloss? please help.

If you are refering to the grille frame that holds the entire grille assembly, I had mine powder coated satin black. Barring the expense of PC, lightly sand the frame with 220 grit wet/dry, use a good primer and then shot it with a satin or semi gloss paint.  :Twocents:

Did mine in powder coat.  Any semi flat black should look good/correct.
