How are the reproduction grilles coming along?

I got the order and bill for 15 grilles last Week. So i hope to ser them this Week

Bob----just looking at all the interesting pictures gives me incentive to get to work on my project.  And compliments on a good job.

Question----what precautions do you guys use when spraying the epoxy primer?  Doesn't that have isocyanates in it?  I've heard that you are supposed to use a fresh air respirator but that a carbon canister type filter can be used if the filter is changed every 45 minutes or so.

Yes is the best paint
I use a gas mask with fume and particle filter in it.
And yes you have to change it some times.

Interesting. Showing my noob here but I don't ever recall ever hearing about treating these seams with an oil before sealing. Is this common practice? Don't you run a risk of the oil leaking out and hosing the paint?

I was wondering how well the seam sealer sticks to the oiled surface.

I understand your consern. But the oilmix being hard as wax and wont  be any problems

How do you apply it to the seams?

Just let in runs down the seam and then i seal the oil in with seal filler
