The Pontiac is a real GTO, but not original RA, Judge, 4 speed.  (which means I drive the hell out of it and have a third into it what a real one I was afraid to drive would be)

I love the GTO!! I want a '69 badly. I've been trying to find my dad's old '69 Ram Air 3 4spd GTO. He sold it when I was born.

I don't have a picture ,but I saw a early 70's roadrunner sitting beside a guys shed.Looks to be the same years as the one us in the DOH,it's been sitting there for a couple of years now.

I chopped down the forest and dragged her home. The car was found in the Rochester NY area. Once owned by a Mr Davenport, then a Mr Rex King, and I bought it of off Bill Drake.  Anyone have any info on this car. I am looking for the Broadcast sheet and engine/transmission.

Wish I could say she was stylin and profilin. But it's resting with some other iron waiting her turn.

Cool pic.

I saw something similar once while canoeing.  It was either a buried salvage yard (that was being eroded by the river) or they were stacked in an attempt to  prevent erosion.  The cars were mostly from the 50's and stacked 10 or 12 cars deep.  I think it was near Brookville Indiana (25 yrs ago).  Anyone here ever seen it?

The cars along the bank at Brookville are still there, I go canoeing there at least once a year.
The interesting thing about those cars is most of the bodys are rusting away but the chrome trim is still shiny and whole.

saw this 1952 mercedes at our local library today....the owner was an elderly gentleman who loved cars!  we talked for about 45 minutes....he gave me a tour of the car and shared some cool stories and features of the car....check out between the doors...when you turn the turn signal on a light pops out between the doors for the signal...it also has a knob to move the distributer from inside the car.....and another knob for a reserve gas tank....the pictures dont really do it justice...it was a super nice restored car....

he said its his daily driver except when the snow gets "6 feet deep"  then he gets out his old volvo....
her name was on the license plate (edelviz which is a white flower that only grows up in the Alps)....learn something new everyday
