Awesome stuff! What carb/air filter are you running? Didn't have any clearance issues with the hood? Also did you have your old gas neck filler chromed or did you buy an aftermarket one? :2thumbs:

Carb is a single edelbrock thunder 800 cfm. The air cleaner is custom built out of a reproduction air grabber setup with a K&N filter. With the edelbrock RPM intake I had to take about 3 inches out of the base to make it work. Only clearance issue is when the hood pad was installed it would rub against the lid but without the pad I have zero issues now.

The gas filler neck is a new reproduction part from Vans auto. Fit was great and only had to slightly adjust the vent tube for the install.

I dunno...these white Chargers are just not doing it for me...have you thought about a nice green?   :nana:

Looking stellar as always.   :2thumbs:

I was looking at the close up shots of the wiring wrap and I like it.  I may have to do that as well.  What brand is it?

  Hmm, a nice green might work.

The braided wraps are painless powerbraid. Its around $20-25 for 20 feet depending on what size. I'm sure there are some cheaper alternatives out there but I always stuck with the painless ones.

Cool!  I looked at the cheaper ones but I just don't like the look of them so I'm going with the ones you  have.  Do you have any more pictures of it installed?

Here are the closeups of the braided lines. The wrap comes close to matching the real braided lines(the 2 heater hoses), up close you can see the difference but from a few feet back you can barely tell.   :2thumbs:

Those look perfect!  They also seem to be pliable enough to make some tighter turns.  Time to go measure my wiring and get some of that stuff.  Thanks for the pictures!

No problem Dino!     It does well on staying put around any tight bends. I still added tie wraps to the ends just for extra safety. The only spot that gave me issues was the heater bypass hose. That sucker was tough to get the wrap to stay in place.

Well its time for some new parts to get added on.   :coolgleamA:  I've been wanting to add efi for a while now so I've been collecting parts and am about ready to start the install.

I ordered a Tanks Inc efi tank, in tank pump, and sending unit back in May and it finally shipped and will be here Thursday(I'll post pics soon as it arrives)! Sadly I have to ditch the stainless gas tank that I installed a while back but the Tanks Inc tank will be better suited for the setup.

As for the efi unit, I went with a new product from FiTech. This product has all the features of other throttle bodies (at almost 1/2 the price) on the market but has a couple extra that pushed me in this direction. One big thing for me was with all the factory parts on the firewall and a/c, I have no room left in the engine bay for the ECU. This unit has the ECU built in along with a fuel pressure regulator and all the relays required to run everything. So what you see in the pictures below is the whole package for the install aside from the tank, fuel lines, and pump. It also controls the fuel pump so at idle it will lower the voltage to the pump to save fuel and prolong the life of the pump. It also can be purchased with an option for nitrous/boost and software to tune it on a laptop but since I know nothing about tuning on a computer I went with the basic unit. It also can control the timing but my current setup isn't compatible for this. Can't wait to see how much better the throttle response will be with this setup.

Just waiting on some of the plumbing items and the install will begin.  :2thumbs:

:2thumbs: Another killer upgrade for your car!! Do I see an oxygen sensor? do you have a bung in the exhaust?

myk

Clayton I'm just going to say it: I'm copying your car, mechanically anyway, because your build has made the most sense and appeal to me.  The Hotchkis pieces and even the '66/67 Center console armrest are awesome changes I'm glad I followed.  I like the Baer brakes you're running and this EFI kit you've picked up seems to have many positive features.  Are you running hydro boost as well?   Keep up the great work sir!
