I thought I seen your car in a few pix that were took at Thunderhill.  How'd you fair?

I owe a big thanks to Marty (MSRacing89) for helping me learn the ropes of one of these events. He showed me a bunch of tips and made it a great event. It was an awesome experience and I'll definitely be back to do more of these events.

For the first try...not too bad! I still got beat by everyone there    but had a blast doing it. The chargers were probably the biggest and heaviest cars there but it was a lot of fun throwing them around all day. And I learned a lot from having the instructors ride along and show me some tricks.  The car definitely can be pushed harder than I tried but it does need some more power. And the brakes were fantastic!  :2thumbs:  But I might upgrade them even further :scratchchin:

Also got to meet Mike (v21hemicharger) and see his 69 Charger. It was cool sight to see all 3 chargers out there!

Thanks John! Here are some more photos back home after the event. I really liked the look with all the decals on the car but it's back to the normal street look now.

And the only damage from the whole trip was a broken headlight door emblem.

And a pic after a good wash to clean off all the bug guts.

So some future plans are to go with a new road race oil pan, oil cooler, oil breather setup, locking trans dip stick, bigger torsion bars, maybe some adjustable shocks, aluminum heads, and I REALLY need to get an overdrive for this transmission. The car is just too damn loud for long trips at 3,000+ RPMs for hours at a time!  :brickwall:
