Nice car, love the weels also..... My 69 cam from the factory this way white with red stripe and red interior. I always thought my mind was made up about the new color for my car being black. But I'm getting back on that. I might go for white afterall.

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

always been a fan of your ride, not a lot of white Chargers out there and yours was an inspiration for mine (before it got destroyed). Keep on with it, it's WAY awesome, the stance and wheels are killer.

Thanks guys!

I have been very happy with the car and all the hotchkis suspension parts. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade the handling. I have been collecting parts lately and am about ready to tackle the exhaust and brakes. I cant wait to get this big tank braking properly. I just got a set of the greasable lower control arm pins, bushings, and stiffening plates that I hope to install sometime in the next few weeks. I'm not really looking forward to pulling the lower control arms off but it will be worth it in the end. I also just sent out my a/c vents to get rechromed. They have always been an eyesore compared to the new dash bezels. I will keep you guys posted on the new stuff when it gets done.

Here are some pics I took about a month or so ago.

Thanks. The wheels are 18x8 up front and 18x10 in the rear. As for the vents I sent them to MM Metalizing here in California. http://www.mmmetalizing.com/ I should have my vents back within the next couple weeks so as of now I cant comment on the quality but I'll post some pics when I get them back. They quoted me $35 bucks each.

The wheels are Intro Wheels V-rods. 18x8 with a 4.75" backspace and 18x10 with a 5.5" backspace. The tires are 245/40 fronts and 285/40 rears.

Well its been a while since I have posted any updates on what I have been doing to my 69 so I figured its about time to post some up.

Last spring I installed a new set of TTI headers along with the 3" dynomax exhaust. Sound awesome! Couldn't be happier with with the sound and quality. Everyone always talks about how the TTI headers fit perfect but I had to put a decent clearance ding in for the idler arm but still fit great. WAY better than the Hooker super comps I had in before.

I also installed a hydroboost brake system at the same time as the headers. This is probably one of the best upgrades on the car so far. The car went from not having any confidence in the brakes to total confidence. Even with drums on the back. Can't wait to see how they are with the new brakes.

Well, the car was running great but I was sick of the big iron boat anchor known as the a/c compressor sitting on the motor.  Also a lot of the other accessories just looked worn out.  So I decided to tear everything on the front of the motor all off and go with some modern components. And do some touch up paint on the engine bay. So I installed a mancini racing aluminum water pump housing, high flow water pump, 100 AMP alt, new power steering pump, sanden a/c compressor, and a march performance serpentine belt setup.

It all went together fairly well and looks 100 times better in my opinion. Ran into a few problems with the belt alignments but with a few spacers and a little patience it all worked great. Only major problem I ran into was the stock mechanical fan would not fit anymore. Even though March performance guaranteed it would? So after looking at a few electric fans I decided to go with a Flex-A-Lite dual puller fans (thanks for the recommendation Bill!). They fit perfect with just the right amount of clearance.

I still need to get the a/c lines ran but have decided to pull the heater box and have it restored before I get the system charged up. So the review of the new a/c system will have to wait. I will pull the box out sometime in the next few weeks and get the engine compartment all finished up.

I also decided to get some interior pieces fixed that have always bothered me. My rear seats looked great but the foam underneath was toast. So since I had to pull the covers anyway I decided to go with new leather seat covers from Legendary. They look and feel great. Plus now they match up with the aftermarket leather front seats.

Since the seats were out I also changed the package tray and seat dividers. The speakers used to be on top of the package tray and while I liked them there I thought it would look better hidden. So I went with the mesh style tray and lowered the speakers down a bit so it would clear. Just waiting on some pieces from year one then I can get the seats back in and will post some finished interior pics.
