This is awesome.   Watch it before it goes "poof" and disappears.   It really captures the flavor of what Grand National racing was like.

I have the YouTube downloader program. It takes the link, copies it into the program and then converts that video to most any media that I want to view it in....

I also have RealPlayer as well...either one works for me....

both are free programs that I have on my 'puters so I can save any video to my hard drives

Thanks Doug!  That was actually the first NASCAR race I have enjoyed watching in a long time.

Wow have things changed.  $26,500 was the entire purse, with payouts down to $650 to the person coming in last.

Cars that are not set up on a razors edge that they can actually turn the wheel and not spin out.  No dozen yellows because somebody sneezed.  Marcis laying out a smoke screen and not getting black flagged.  The pits were phenominal, having to make a hard left turn to get back on the track!

Drivers using the bump and run, and the bump not causing the car to spin out.

And of course, actually being able to discern a 70 Charger from a 71, just by its shape.

Great stuff!

I use a converter for .flv files (that's what YouTube uses) from....

http://www.koyotesoft.com/indexEn.html

Free FLV Converter

It's very user friendly and it converts it into a high quality .avi file that will work on any player or burn to DVD.
If you have trouble getting it to work give me a holler and I'll walk you through it.

And Doug, thanks for posting that link.  That was an awesome find!
