Would some one be so kind as to take photos?   I can't attend and would love to see some great photos of original or original restored engine compartments, trunks, things that could help me put my car back together correctly.    Not to mention, just pics of that many wing cars will be nuts!   Maybe someone can creatively do a photo collage.

Also - anyone plan on videoing the parade laps - that would be awesome to see on eBay.

We have a dedicated photographer coming to work the event.     PettyBird will come up with some artful shots too, I am sure.

I mailed my registration Saturday and have not recieved an email.  Should I give the track a call?

Really a dedicated photographer is coming to the show? Thats awsome. I'll still be dragging around my camera's. I think I'll even break out the video camera and wireless mic for some of the weekend  too.

That sounds good Danny.

I also heard from Dave Jones tonight.  He has some other commitments on Satuday, but is going to try and stop by during the meet.

I was hoping it was the same as from Talladega. I could use another panoramic photo. :) Oh or Jeff would be cool too.

Hey 41Husk, chill and relax, it should be fine that you have not received an email confirmation.

I talked to Doug.....he is away from the computer and he said that the email reponses have been to those that sent their registration in by email, that those sent by snail mail have not been getting emails.  He also figures that they have had a barrage of mail hit them at one time.
Doug snail mailed his and did not get an email.

I have also talked to someone that emailed theirs in and it was 2 days before they had a response

So since they probably have so much mail, it might be awhile before she can respond to your inquiry emails

So Doug what is the absolute deadline for telling them if your coming or not? I talked to a few more local guys (from here in Indiana) yesterday and at least 1 of them should be coming with his Superbird. Not sure on the others, but I wasn't sure if it was too late to send in the registration now as I thought the 15th was the cut off.

Mopurr

when Doug posted the registration forms he said they had to be in by the 11th.

If they are local they need to send the form in immediately.   In the mail on Monday, or scan it and email it to Katie.

He was going to call them/email them yesterday I believe. They are local to here in Indiana, but about an hour and a half drive from the track.

Well we started the trip today as we are making a vacation out of it.  We made it to Butte  Montana.  We will spend a few days In Rapid City S.D. in order to show the grandson all the sites around there. Then we will head to Omaha for a week with more grandkids, then off to Indy.  Bob

Thanks guys!  We'll make it into Helena Mont. today and on to Rapid city on Monday.  Always interesting when pulling the Charger on an open trailer.....People pull up along side and take pictures, trains blow their whistles, small crouds gather at rest stops, etc..  The grandson is loving it.  Bob
