I heard tell of a '74 1/2 Dodge Charger called the Spring Special or something like that? Any info about them? Were they special or just an ad compaign to try and get a few more Chargers sold?

Spring Specials are apparently more commons with the "rectangular side window treatment" (M07 code on tag) advertised, as far I have noticed...
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

E5 Charger

My father bought one new in 74. It had the square opera window, wire hubcaps, almost shag carpeting and more plus seats. I learned to drive in that car. It was totaled in the 80's, or I'm sure I would have it now.

This was a Canadian thing. An estimated 1000 cars made. The interior sure is different. No 4 speed or console cars if I remember correctly. I do have one, just a 318 car. The copper stripe is pretty cool though.
WANTED: NOS or excellent condition 72-74 4 speed shifter boot for bench or centre armrest car, part number 3467755. It's a rubber boot that looks like it's sewn up leather.

WANTED: My original 440 blocks. Serial # 2A188182 and 3A100002
