Just 6T9 CHGR

Spent the last 4 days in Carlisle, PA for the Ford Nationals.  My '99 GT convertible with the Limited Edition Package was accepted into the Invitational "T" Building.  Nothing like 4 days of covered, secured storage! ;)

Special thanks to my boy, Chris G. for providing room & board for the trip.  His new house is literally 5 minutes from the fairgrounds... cant ask for more convenience then that

Here are a few shots from the show.  To put the Ford show in perspective compared to the Mopar show....Thursday preview was pretty much dead.....Friday was almost like the Mopar show Thursday (warming up)  Saturday was almost like the Mopar Saturday but waaaay less cars.  Really no "order" to the parking.  Even though there were "classes" none were listed on the signs... just numbers, no titles.  cars were not lined up on the markings on the pavement like they are at the Mopar show...officials are really strict about the parking for the Mopar show to fit all the cars in the Fun Field.

This one is just proof that someone was actually interested in my ride ;)

The entire main section of the Fun Field was ALL Mustangs of all years....as far as the eye could see....

Mine was the only '99 with the Limited Edition package at the whole show for the 4 days....pretty hard to believe  :shruggy:

I WILL own one of these one day....2012 Shelby GT350 convertible :drool5:

Some really top notch stuff in the T....I really felt out of place in there but whatever  ::)  ;)

This was the best car there....parked up on the hill in the Mercury Marauder section  :scratchchin:

750 hp Super Snake! Would love to just do a ride along in one of these. Amazing how many of these 90k beasts there were at the show along with about 5 or 6 Ford GT's, original Shelby Cobras etc....lots of high dollar Ford stuff.
The "dealership" was transformed into the King of the Road Cobra display...old & new Shelby's in there

Congrats on the selection Chris.  Never really a fan of the body style that you have but then again, I would never throw it out of my garage if I had one.

Out of 1,234,567 Mustangs, you had the only 35th.

Pretty impressive Mustangs at the show. The old 70's Stanger on the Dyno was pretty sketchy. We should have recorded that run.

True!   I think you & I were the only smart ones to back away when those old crusty BFG's started to practically fold off the rims at speed
