Hi Guys, Just thought I'd show you all my gear setup so far, carrier turns very smooth and pattern on teeth are almost centered, see what you think

Looks great! I remember building mine, that was tedious! That pattern looks good, a little toward the toe . . . perfect! What lash and pinion preload did you end up with? What ratio?

Hi Terrible one, I've not done that as of yet, was just working on the pattern first. I'm putting in the shimable pinion spacer, and all new bearings so will be on the higher range, from 14 to 19 inch lbs. This is a 489 case so all of these specifications are from the Yukon installation instructions. Also trying to maintain .006 on the back lash.
