I Do not have the fender tag. But have the VIN number. Have a 69 charger RT

Is there any way of figuring out what were written on the fender tag?
Do You know anyone or place that can reproduce my fender tag to look original?

Any help here would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Yes, I believe it is the broadcast sheet that I have. Is it the same thing as some people call the buid sheet? At least I have a piece  of paper with several codes on it and it just have to be the broadcast sheet, but it is in very bad shape, but I can read most of what is on there.

Is the broadcast sheet vital to know what was written on my fender tag?

With the broadcast sheet it should be easy to duplicate the fender tag, contact these folks:

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I can try to contact the guys behind http://www.datatags.com/
Are these the only guys doing this or is there other companies?

"With the broadcast sheet it should be easy to duplicate the fender tag", that is probably right if I knew how to do it  :o :yesnod: hehe

If you can post the Broadcast Sheet on here -- and if the codes are readable -- we can collectively generate what your Fender Tag would have said.  However, the referenced website is one of only a handfull of places that will generate a reproduction Chrysler Fender Tag.  There is no way to generate the fender tag codes just from having the car's VIN.

I think that the Marti Reports guys (Phord oriented, of course) can also repop Chrysler fender tags, but they might need some help figuring out the codes.

I didn't mean for you to duplicate the tag, give the maker a copy of the broadcast sheet and they will take it from there.

hemigeno:
i checked Marti Reports website, but could figure out if they make chrysler fender tags, so I sendt them an e-mail concerning it.
I can scan my broadcast sheet, post in here, and you can probably help me out. that will take me some time though...

John:
Ok, I thought maybe you knew how to make out the numbers on the fender tag from the broadcast sheet. somebody here should know. It would be fun to know it works. It cant be that complicated.....

Found these:
http://www.trimtags.com/index.html
http://www.galengovier.com/fendertag.htm   I read somewhere that galen uses datatags and is just the middle man

They charge way to much for a reproduction, is there any others???

I had Galen make me a fender tag years back. I had a mint original broadcast sheet for him to go by. It took ALONG time but looks great.

http://www.datatags.com/ is the place I have been told Galen uses. They will charge extra to decode the sheet as they will send your sheet to Galen  and have to pay him. Get it figured out with the members here and it should run $50 or so bucks.

A broadcast sheet looks something like this:

If that's what you have, then yes, your Fender Tag information can be retrieved.
