My Charger isn't ready for Hot Rod Magazine's Power Tour so I am taking my '09 Challenger.  I've heard alot of good about the Zaino's Showcar Waxing System so I thought I'd try it on my Challenger for the Tour.  It takes time as they require several applications of different products that they say will protect the paint and keep the shine for months (9 months if you use one of products in the application which I did).  Time will tell....BUT....the shine and depth is just amazing!  I've used several popular waxes and nothing compares to this stuff...IMO

I added a few pictures but it looks even better in person...If you looking to try something new, I think its worth the $$$.  They even have a formula for older paint jobs (i.e. non-clear).

If anyone is going to on the Power Tour and you see this Challenger...stop by and say hi.

That does look sweet and nice color!  Did you have to keep that stuff off the stripes?

Beautiful shine on a gorgeous Chally!  You should be proud!  Just wondering, how does this shine compare to something like Turtle Wax's ICE product? The ICE is not really a wax as it is more of a polymer product I think but it is really easy to apply and gives very nice results. I doubt it lasts as long as Zaino either.

Zaino is great stuff but yes it is a little work to do it properly.

Been using it on my '06 for a few years now but havent had time to get it done on the '69 yet so you guys will have to suffer for a pic of the new "Charger"

Brightyellow69rtse

ive used the stuff on the charger before it does work really well!

That's all I use to use until the quick detail spray quit coming off.  A few shots from Adam's took care of it & I haven't looked back.

So, I'm on an Adam's kick right now.

I've tried a few Adam's products, it is definitely nice stuff.
I've been really hooked on Griot's Garage products for a while now. Caters to the high-end show car level. Expensive, but worth it.

I've been using Zaino for 10+  years... Got turned on to it from The Corvette Forum and have never looked back.. Nothing else touches any of my cars...

People look at it and think it's pricey.. But one "kit" lasts me 18 months. And the level of protection can't be touched.. Using it on a daily driver you'll find it's still "working" 9-10 HARSH WEATHER MONTHS later.

Can't beat the shine... The "wet look" never goes away.

We have a mutual friend, that goes to all of the same local car shows we do, that believes "his polish" is the best.. that nothing is better. So I asked him to give me a test area... His lower rocker on the passenger side rear quarter... And see if he can see a difference. I hit it with Z1 ,Z2, Z5 and Z6.. In a perfect square that I taped off (it's a '96 T-Bird, nothing REALLY fancy, so I didn't harm anything). Needless to say, he's now a believer and has to do his entire car.

I love the stuff even though its hard to get over here.

Zaino works really well. I have been using it for years. It is pricey and has to be ordered directly from Zaino in New Jersey, but worth it. People think that Zaino requires a lot of extra prep. The thing is you should prep that way before polishing no matter what product you are using.

Zaino just takes it to the next level, and is easier to apply and remove than most off the shelf products.

I highly recommend it to anyone looking for the best results.

JB got me started on it years ago. I'm now a Zaino zombie!

Funny, but people have always said " you can make any car's shine look good in a picture ", but to me, a Zaino shine definitely shows...

This statement is so very true.  Prep is EVERYTHING.  When I put Zaino on a car, I first use a clay bar to get rid of any surface dirt.  Then, I use Meguiar's Speed Glaze (#80) with a dual action polisher to remove any mild oxidation and prep the finish.  At this point, your paint should be smooth as glass.  Then I wash it with Dawn detergent to remove the glaze and proceed with the Zaino steps.  The results I get are amazing.  Zaino CAN be used on flat or matte black paint and decals without problems because it is not petroleum based.  I've used it on the Super Bee decal on my '71 bulge hood and it actually made it look better.

Zaino is a polymer, so removing it will require wiping the surface down with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol.

You can sometimes get Zaino through a local distributor.  I'm pretty sure that you can find out if you have a local distributor by calling NJ and asking...or running a Google search.
Most of your life should be "off the record."

Yes, but I used the quick detailer on them.

Sweet...didn't try it on the stripes and hood.  I will now

I used this on my black car a few times and, yes, the car was shiny. However, in no way does it provide a better shine than a good, pure carnuba wax. Even Meguiars Gold Class looks better than this in my opinion.

I realize that carnuba doesn't last- but if you want something that lasts and beads water like crazy, go to any store and buy Collinites #845. For the money and the time, I think that Zaino is a little over-hyped.

Yep, Collinite IS awesome stuff!!  :yesnod:  :iagree:

I used that for years, then switched to 3M's Show Car Past Wax. It is pure carnuaba, but is a little softer. Your paint MUST be perfect prior to using it.
I sometimes don't have the time to wax solely by hand, so I'll use Griot's Garage polish/wax system with their random orbital with the foam pads & their Best of Show Wax. Stuff is awesome. Works nice & easy by hand, too.

Been using the stuff for about 10 years. Gave mu dad a couple bottles and he used them on his 98 Passat. Trouble is its the cleanest car in town, keeps getting stopped and asked what he uses. The person he bought the car off asked him to get some for his new Mercedes as the Passat looked newer...lol

I use it on 2 Transams and 2 Jeep GC's. Will EVENTUALLY use it on the Charger.
