Hoping you guys could tell me what this is called that way I can go out and search for it. I have a guy doing a front brake disc conversion for me. In the picture in the directions it is showing what i would guess you would call a mounting plate that goes between the booster and the firewall and then the foot brake hardware goes into or thru it. Directions say it should have one before but I cant find it anywhere. Just need to know what it is called and hopefully I can find one.

thanks

It's called a reinforcement plate, both power and non-power use one but the bolt pattern is different. The firewall is drilled for both bolt patterns but the reinforcement determines which holes the booster studs pass through.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Thank you very much. Now I have to see if I can locate one to purchase. The adventure continues....

Isn't the one for the power brake the same as the non-power except for the hole in the middle being bigger?  And can't you just enlarge that hole?  I knew this once but have forgotten what was what.

The manual brake & power brake mounting plates are different....the manual brake plate has studs to mount it to the firewall.
The power brake plate relies on the booster studs to mount it.
Also the holes are in different locations for the rods to pass through
