Got up at 6:30 am washed my Charger, dried it off, cleaned the windows, polished the wheels, vacuumed the interior, checked the oil.
Went to the gas station and put $25 of 93 super unleaded in the tank.
I had absolutely nowhere to be or any destination in mind but drove about 75 miles anyway. Layed a bunch of rubber and burned a bunch of gas listening to Lynard Skynard.
Life is good!

That would be me. I drive like the old man I am. Sorry. Bad for the Muscle car image dept.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly.  ~A. Einstein

When your Charger is sideways, just give it more gas!

Hooked up with a '70 Superbird, '70 Cuda, '71 Charger, and my '73. Dropped the wife and mother in law off at Santana Row, (they went wine tasting and got "lit"). We guys cruised the "Row", got threatened by the local traffic cop "IF YOU DO THAT AGAIN, I'LL SITE YOU FOR EXCIBITION OF SPEED AND BAN YOU FROM THE PROPERTY FOR EVER !" I guess he wasn't overly impressed with my buddy's 15' burn out in the high rent shopping community. Good thing he didn't see my 80 footer I did by the house.  :D   No such thing as too much horsepower,...just not enough traction!  It was a great day!  :2thumbs:
