Search boxes

I'd like to inquire as to what happened to the search boxes on each page?  The easiest way to find an answer to a problem, which today is rear leaf springs, is to go into that area, and search..  Currently the only option is to click the search button next to Home, Help, & Profile.. And it searches the whole forum.

Well, I just found that you can pick an area to search using the search button...

There's another thread here about the top of the page disappearing. Look on the upper right hand corner next to the date and see if there's a "-" or a "+" in the little box. If it's a "+" then click it.
