opinion on restoring vector wheels. please help.

i think im going to sand blast em with low pressure using medium sand, spray em with ppg primer, then with high gloss black or satin black, then wire wheel off the black when its dry on the fins, what do you think.

Be sure to protect the areas that will remain UNpainted. Blasting them will make them dull and hard to get shiny again.
