What did I ever do to you?

Tornados in California?  How about I send a earthquake your way? We will see how you like that.

I've been watching The Weather Channel & CNN ever since Mother Nature tried wiping Joplin off the map.

It's been a crazy week.

I have a different view.

"For the Lord's eyes are on the righteous
and his ears are open to their prayers."
(1 Peter 3:12 Common English Bible)

My prayers sent for the Lord's healing hand on all of those challenged by these natural disasters.

I was at work and they told us to get off the engines and go into the shelter. (railroad)

As we got into the building, I looked outside and saw 10 tank cars in front of us full of fuel. I told my boss you might want to move those things.  ::) His mouth dropped and said omg.

It's an unfortunate fact that even the righteous, praying as hard as they can, get whacked at the same rate as the unrighteous.

So I say we get off our knees, roll up our sleeves and expend our energy on something that is actually helpful. As an option, the Red Cross is looking for some cash, and that will probably do just as well for those of us too far away to lend a hand. I've sent mine in, and I challenge everyone else to do the same.

It might not do any good, but it sure as heck will make the person feel a o lot better though.
