1974 Drag Pak option?

I recently saw a magazine article where they stated that in 1974 there was a virtually unknown option for the Road Runner called the Drag Pak.  The article alleged that it was the only way to get an 8 3/4 rearend in a 74 Runner and that it was only available with a 360.  I hadn't heard of this and trying to dig deeper hasn't turned up anything.  As far as I've been able to find out the 8.75 was available in the Charger or the Road Runner behind a number of engines for 74.  Can anyone shed any more light on this?

I don't know anything about the drag pack, but only being able to get an 8-3/4 being behind a 360 is a COMPLETE fabrication.
