Man...that double cab VW pickup has had a hard life to look like that after just 7000 miles! Very cool and collectable vehicle though....not many rear engined pickups have ever been on the market! Afraid I'm on the wrong side of the pond to every take advantage of your service...but really enjoy following your thread. Just for interest how many miles do you drive each year and how many miles does your current tow vehicle have on it.

My dear friend Louie Mandich - who owns Last Chance Garage in Unionville, PA - was my host for the weekend.

We attended a small local car show in Delaware on Saturday - then a small swap meet and early brass car show in Strasburg, PA on Sunday.

Then an early Memorial Day Parade in a small Pennsylvania town close to where Louie lives ....  

Such Fun ...    

Louie's high school shop teacher is (10) years older than him - he portrays " Uncle Sam " in local Memorial Day Parades.





Louie chauffeurs him every year - this year Uncle Sam rode in Louie's 1918 Buick Touring ...





After the parade - we toured the beautiful country side on the way back to Last Chance Garage.


Just a Great Weekend .....
