k member hole for motor mount is larger than the hole on the motor mount?

the hole on the k member is a 1/2 inch, and the hole on the motor mount is 7/16 please help. am i missing a sleeve or is something wrong? the mounts are off a 67 coronet, and not sure about the k member. theres a long bolt that joins the two together and it goes into the nut thats welded on the motor mount. please help

nope -  you're not missing anything...     just gives a little play and allows you to get the bolts through with a little slop - otherwise you'd never get the bolts thought the mount on the K frame...
