drive from Vegas to Monument Valley

Hi all!

we are planing our honeymoon and i was just wondering if anyone drove from Las Vegas to Monument Valley?i checked it and it says 177miles which is like 3-3,4 hours drive!it's ok because we wanna do the whole driving experience over there!my question is this!has anyone been there and stayed overnight?i know i check it online but i'd like to hear some personal experience and not a brousser!
the place looks fantastic since i was a kid i wanted to go there where the most cowboy movies were shot!is it on the Seven Wonders of the World list well it should be!

I have never been there , but that sound like a great place to go !!!  I too love the westerns set there .
