I'll tell ya, I'm very close to that point now as it is. I'm hoping by the time I move to Georgia, and get my car done, I'll have lost about 50 pounds or more.

I eat smaller portions, but only because I am to cheap to buy the larger size.

I also drink water now at work and have cut my pop\cola intake WAY down. Try that first if you like your pop...pure sugar.

I rarely ever drink soda anymore. I mostly drink water or milk. And I don't even drink much milk either. As far as running, my right knee won't tollorate it because of a fall I took 25 years ago. Besides, I lost 200 pounds already with out any exercise, just cutting down on eating and soda ect. I only gotta lose 100 yet to get to my goal weight. My problem is I'm on a eating binge right now.  ::) I'll lose it just because of my kids and because I wanna drive my car comfortably :yesnod:

:iagree:  I was on a water kick last summer and noticed a difference in a short time

I have now 230 pounds, which is not too much considering that I'm 6'6'' tall.

Anyway my "fat burning" activity is windsurfing, even during winter (with appropriate wet suit, sea temp. is 53F outside about the same) if manage to catch good wind.

When you start noticing a hint of "manboobs" that you've never had before, there's a definite problem. :smilielol:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

That's great news, congrats.  :2thumbs:

My sister did something like that when she was in high school. She had had enough by her junior year with teasing, not feeling 100% & being ignored by guys. She stopped snacking on junk & soda, spent most of the summer working on it, & by the time she started her senior year, was a new person. She went from around 200 pounds down to about 130 & people didn't recognize her. She also had a few guys trying to get her phone number. If anything, you should feel a lot better about yourself when you lose weight like that, I know my sister did.

Good luck, Bob

Well I have made up my mind to lose 15 pounds before spring. I am cutting out the sweets, eating lighter meals, and eating veggies and fruit, maybe with peanut butter for snacks rather than Christmas cookies and ice cream. Lets see what happens.

It's really that easy, Paul.

Cutting out just sodas and candy will make a big difference.

I found that if I made an effort to keep healthy snack type stuff around, I didn't miss the junkfood.

I just need to start excersizing 3 times a week again.

Lost 60 some odd pounds last time I did that.

What has hurt me was a job change. I am doing very little physical work now. That hurts the waistline. Working out? I would rather dig a hole to china than spend time doing mindless exercise, even though the exercise is good for me. Thats why winter is so rough. Too cold to go outside to dig. LOL
