Sorry, it is a post from Moparts, but it has a big update on Monster Mopar weekend.

And a funny picture to balance everything out... taken at MMW last year.

Sweet.

Not really any further or closer to home for me. Still a day trip.

I didn't really care for INDY when Nats was there but it is better than losing Monster Mopar altogether.

Well, That just sucks giant donkey balls  :brickwall:

If it's not at Gateway...

.... It's NOT Monster Mopar.  :slap:

I agree.  I guess Indy is probably under 4 hours.  Hotel kills me, kinda nice to have one event in your back yard :brickwall: :RantExplode:

I guess it *could* take 4 hours to get to Indy from St Louis - if you drive like my grandma! To be fair, I guess you'd have to account for the distance from track to track since Gateway is closer to me than St Louis. I think I can get to Indy an 2 hours or less but it takes a bit over 5 to get to Gateway from Cincinnati.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

I have not been through Indy in a long time.  It was just nice being as close as I was.  If it is less than 3 hours that won't be bad

Map quest from my house to Indianapolis is just under 4 hours.  If the venue is on the east or North side of town probably right at 4 hours.  Not terrible but not 5 minutes either.

I've never been to indy for any period of time.  I might just go again this year.  If I am in Chicago at that time, I'll probably shoot down there.
