The site says it was updated 3/10/2010.   Would be an interesting story how much someone got if for.   It is at the White House? :nana:

The auction never took place, and the IRS sorta got its hand slapped for taking it in the first place.

See this thread on the subject, and take a look at the court proceeding writeup here.

I was hoping to see a Daytona clone with an Independent Rear Suspension, not the old Infernal Revenue Service screw up on the Daytona.

What's the date on this page of The Arizona Republic?  I see the Daytona advertisement doesn't mention the vinyl roof.  So maybe it was added after this edition went to press?

And it had the vinyl top when I saw it for sale in early 1974, and when Pat Harper owned it.

Stuart, I remember the thread where someone, Sean Machado I believe, stated the vinyl top was put back on because it had a vinyl top back in the early-mid 70's.  As I stated earlier, I looked at the car in 1974, before I bought my first SuperBird in 7/74, and it had a vinyl top then.  I'd like to know when the newspaper clipping from, since it makes no reference to a vinyl top. It's been up for discussion before as to where and when the first vinyl top was added.
