For anyone who's actually still up and on the site I'll be moving it to the new server starting pretty soon. While it's moving the forum will be inaccessible so I hope no one gets too bent out of shape. The new environment should be more stable and there's more space/bandwidth to work with. Please be patient!

Actually, we're in Chicago. The trip from New Jersey only took about 20 minutes (as Bull found out). Some things went way faster than planned and some things decided to be difficult. It was meant to happen overnight but I got tired and went to bed (which is why only the front page was visible this morning). A 2 hour job actaully lasted about 12 and there's still more to do.

Can I use the front page to make a decal ?:D
You can make whatever you want as long as you follow two rules:
1. Get permission to use the artwork from Charger Bill
2. Don't sell it

1-I'll try to get a permission.
2-just for my car ;) on the oppossite corner of rear glass where I have the "My wife maybe my Charger NEVER" one

BTW... great move. I think is more noticeable with dial up users like me :)

I say go ahead and make one for your own use, however:

I was planning on getting quotes for stickers next week. They may end up being square or rectangular as opposed to oval because from past experience I know that die-cutting a particular oval shape (or any shape) costs more than square cuts. I may also just leave the black area around the edges and let you guys cut the oval out of the black. Whichever way it goes, Troy and I will discuss these things so we can figure out how to price them so that the site makes a profit to keep it going and all expenses are covered. I'll get back to you all when I know more.

Nacho-RT74

I also can try to design some one manually ( PC design is not for me rigt now )

Oval versus rectagular cut cost... is BS from decal makers and related bussines... what cuts the decal is a machine and vinyl used would it be the same than rectangulars, just more material wasted but same sheet piece used... but buyer is who  PAYS THE VINYL SHEET RIGHT ? Machine won't care the kind of cut to make because it won't ask for more money to make the oval cut :P like it was a hand job.

IN FACT with a good use of a vinyl sheet you can use space between lines/colums and ovals to try to fit another oval pieces ;) so you can get more decals from a vinyl sheet maybe around 15-20% more decals, but of course is not what decal makers cares. They try to use more material to give higher quotes ;)

Anyway that is not a topic to THIS TOPIC... sorry, didn't want to highjack the thread
