Its been raining non stop in Ohio and I wanted a fun little project for the Charger, so I got an oil cooler for it.

Jegs sandwich adaptor with thermostat ,two an8 braided lines 2 ft long, and a B&M medium size plate super cooler.

Engine has 35psi warm idle , 65psi on the road with a mechanical gauge . Run the factory electric gauge and idiot light now normal road pressure is 5/8 ths.

With the cooler oil pressure is very low. idiot light flickers at idle and the lifters got noisy.   :eek2:

Hooked the lines together ,bypassing the cooler, the oil pressure was back to normal
.

Do you need a header style cooler for the engine oil?  Bigger flex lines , AN 10 ?
