I bought parts from a member from another country and Jamey acted as the go between, which means I sent Jamey the money for a part he didn't even have. I received the parts. He's a stand up guy in my book. I'm sure there's a good reason why he's late getting you the part.

Always two sides to a story.

And who the F buys taillights for anything if they only have 38 pennies to live on? Am I reading this wrong or something?

I took my car to get its power steer and pump rebuilt. Was told I would get it back within 2 weeks. Its going onto 3 months now and im still waiting. At least you got your car if not the tailights!  :RantExplode:

That does not sound like RD.  He is an upstanding guy...even sent me some old Model A books for free...for my Grandfather who has a model A.  He must be busy...he'll send you the part.  :yesnod:

well it went out today, UPS. tracking number emailed to you.  sorry for my tardiness, but april was an extremely rough month with influenza, marital unrest, and my dad dying (yes all three from march-april).

i will be honest and your bumper was not the highest of my priorities.  i do not ask nor do i expect your forgiveness because the bumper should have went out sooner, for that i apologize.

i almost didnt post here that i shipped it today, but someone may or may not raise this thread from its dormant state and instead of having to go through all the muckety muck again.. this should close the thread with resolution.

"Don't be sorry my friend......if a guys sells you parts he better send them.  Or at least keep you updated on the status."

You said it right there I couldn't agree more! if things if life get in the way (good or bad) then you have no business selling parts. And to all the people who said "he's a good Guy" how many of you have bought from him? for those of you that did not buy from him and said "He's a good Guy" sorry, but that mean's nothing unless you have personally dealt with him. My story is so unbelievable, but I have proof (Pay Pal payments etc) my guess is we won't be hearing from "Good Guy" JD again.
This cover's not coming back here imo (quote from JD) " but someone may or may not raise this thread from its dormant state and instead of having to go through all the muckety muck again.. this should close the thread with resolution" whatever...
