AMCC Carshow Easter Auckland NZ

Howdy, our club the American Muscle Car Club put on a show locally over easter, some very sharp club cars and had good attendance as well. It was pretty much the last show of the season so a bit of a wait for the next one

69 Hemi RoadRunner restored 10 years ago and still looks fresh as
68 Hemi Coronet ex United Kingdom, what a car

69 Charger not long landed
69 R/T SE , very nice condition
70 'Cuda gran coupe , full house treatment with KB Hemi and procharger , makes around the 1000hp mark so I am told
72 RR with 605 Indy Hemi makes 681 at the bags and man this is fast and handles so well

Trick bare metal job on the Muzzy, had some salt flat pics too, cant place it now tho
The same guys have built this modded 69 Charger for V8 Supercars racing driver Greg Murphy, it has a lot of subtle body mods , widened guards for track width, bumpers moved back, indicators patched and runs a Nascar smallblock.
A bit out of the ordinary
And the Hurst Olds is just plain out cool

Fastback Barracuda is 440 powered and just finished
The General belonging to a mate of mine
This 440 Challenger runs low 12's on street tyres.

Also, the show got on the local news, bit of a laugh

Ok Cool, look us up for a beer.  There's a car run called Reclaim the Streets ( for Australian & American cars no import stuff ) on the last Friday of every month, so 26th will be a go, can organise a seat for a cruise if you want , flick us a pm for contact detail SFRT  . Too early yet to find out if there is much other stuff on. Pretty crook weather around that time of the year tho so not so much on carwise

Thanks for sharing. I showed those pics to my father and he enjoyed them. He loves NZ and goes there on vacation once a year.
