Kinda looks like the kid of an 80s Vette and the 99 Charger concept.....
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

That car was just a mock up no real functional versions were ever built.I heard the mock up was destroyed, after years of being stored in a warehouse. It was held together with wood, and screws! I built a model of that car when I was a kid!

Steve P.

GM built a model of it too. They call it a Corvette........ :puke:

I heard something about it falling apart too.  There were fiberglass bodies of it for kit car use.  I have a pic somewhere of Mr. Norms shop with one of the bodies swinging from the rafters.  He was asked about it once and he didn't know what had happened to it.  He did say he had more than one though and likely sold one to somebody who mounted it on a vehicle.
I have a Hot Wheels of it that a guy gave me for my 6th birthday.

Here is a Charger III as a drag car.  I'm trying to sort through my files here to find the pic from Mr. Norms shop.  I gotta edit some of this junk out.

Ok I'll bite, that one you posted is not a vintage photo. As I actually know the car and why would a Chrysler press photo car have dutch plates and a wrong stripe on it?

Press photos were frequently wrong.  Think of the 69 Charger non RT with Hemi badges, the 70 Barracuda with Hemi and shaker and so forth.
Also, I remembered where the picture of Mr. Norm's shop was, it's in an issue of MCG from the past year.  Now if I can just recall which issue.
