My friend is looking at this charger in Michigan. http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/dodge/charger/1083172.html Does anybody know the car or anything about it? Also what would be the spots to look at for rust and things like that? I know nothing about the first gen chargers so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Dom

That car needs major rust repair! I would stay away.. be prepared to spend more than 10 grand just on bodywork alone!  :Twocents:

I agree.  I'd stay away from that one unless you're willing to take on some serious work.  I was almost OK with it until the rear wheel well pic.

Are you looking for a first gen needing some work?  I can put you into one in nicer shape for less.  I just need to thin the fleet.

Thanks Reed.  My bride would like to see the yellow one go, but it got here before she did.

If you are still interested in the car from the ad, Clinton Twp is pretty close to me. I could check it out for you/him if you are serious. I could probe it more and get any other pics you mite want
