Carb Leak

After I run and then shut down my 72 Ch w 318 Carter 2bbl I notice gas leaking from the top seal on the carb - comes down the front hear where the fuel line comes into the carb.
The gasket is new, I checked the float levels at they seem ok.
Any suggestions to stop this leak?
