flip up and locking gas cap

not sure if this is the right topic.we have a flip up gas cap and want to be able to stop anybody messing with the fuel!i thought if i buy a locking gas cap i can put it inside the flip up one!is it wright or not?can't tell from the pictures!thank you

I have one that I bought NOS off of ebay 10 years ago.  "Had an incident" at a rod run BEFORE I had one.  It was a good "piece of mind" purchase for me.  Works good.  Never had a problem with it.

That was what I am thinking (never leave my car out of site) But there is times that you might have to... and with

the gas cap being one of the focus points and being so easy just to drop something in.  I think I will get one also.

I have one someone tried to get around and it is down inside the filler neck. I had to change the whole neck as I can't get to it and it restricted refueling. Someday I will cut the tube and get it out.
