These were pretty cool! All of them were Cummins powered. The big truck started out as a Mega cab. The two cars that sit low have Turbo 350 transmissions and 4 link suspension. None has a key - they all have a specific starting sequence that is typically hidden in the gears, levers, and knobs. The last car was built in a week just to see if they could get it done. They were getting ready to build another "on site" at a dealership and I was told the budget was about $95k so you probably won't see them all over the place.

like this requoted thread post there's about 15 Lbs of unnessesary solder and intentional rust though i enjoy some of the details like the old boots and wood, it's hard to tell one rat rod from another, that really low phanton used to be here in the bay area, i posted pics of it three or four years ago...
