If they have actually charged your CC then be sure to call your credit card company and put in a dispute now, before you pay your monthly bill.

Too late  :flame:

"Vendor" #1 Charged my credit card immediately, when the bill came about a week later, dumb assed

me paid it. :brickwall:

Probably wouldn't hurt to call the CC company anyhow and explain the situation. They still might be able to help push on the vendor.

Apparently rattling a few cages pays off. ::)

After e-mailing "Vendor" #1 and "Vendor" #2 last night... (again, I feel I should NEVER have to pester a "vendor" for information/status reports) :brickwall:

...I've been assured that "Vendor" #2 will ship my parts tomorrow (Wed) afternoon, and "Vendor" #1 will ship my parts on Monday... :slap:

We'll see... ::)

Year one can be a bit like that at times. I've ordered and payed for a few items and a few weeks later no parts. I ring to see where they are and apparently they hold the entire order until everything is in stock. They held the whole order over one emblem. Only when I called back later and raised a fuss the sales guy was like "I didn't realize the part was so small, I'll go ahead and authorize this shipment to ship and we'll send you the emblem when it's in stock" :brickwall:

OK - Wednesday has come and gone -

Please call them out by name so we can all be aware of their business practices.

Nothing... :brickwall:

Total of $1150 sent out to two "Vendors"  :flame:

The first one will be a month this Tuesday.

I got a nice letter in the Mail about a week after they had my money, Thanking me for my order...

No parts... :shruggy:

So, I email them...

"No parts....

What's up" ?

Your parts are on back order...

"It will be a few more weeks"...

"Sorry for the delay"  :icon_smile_angry:

Well, my money wasn't on backorder, now was it?  :scratchchin:

Yes, they billed my credit card right away... :brickwall:

The second one will be two weeks this Thursday.

After the first week that he had my money I e-mailed him for the tracking number for my parts, since

I hadn't heard from him and it had been seven days...

So I assumed they had been shipped...

His reply:

"Sorry, I've been away...

It will ship this afternoon and I'll forward the tracking number to you"...

Then...

Nothin'... :shruggy:

The names of these "vendors" are being withheld...

For now...

They weren't Toyota parts from Japan, were they?   :shruggy:

May be a while.

I've only had one really bad experience in shipping delays, that was Premiere Plastics who took almost 4 months to get me the part.  ::)

Here's my dumb story..

Feb. 16.   My 00 Cherokee gets stolen out of the driveway by some idiot that just got let out of jail and escaped from a barricaded motel room after beating up his brother thru the bathroom window.   I find out at 530am and within minutes I see the jerkoff driving past my house!   Police chase ensues and he's caught after he stuffs my jeep into an embankment after some off roading.

Feb. 21:  Win a used front bumper assm. from ebay jeep parts dealer I've had good luck with before.  $76 plus $21 shipping... sounds good.   Should be here soon cause it's in Rhode Island.

March 4:   Send a where is my item inquiry,   get a typical my shipping system crashed and I'm backed up... I'll get it shipped soon reply...   OK... sounds good.  I've bought from him before.

March 18:  Another where is my item?   No response.

March 30:  Open ebay resolution case.

March 31:  Get a response...  Oh.. sorry... no shipping label was generated... honest mistake.  It's coming.

April 14:  Went back thru Ebay resolution and asked where is my item.   Get a response WITH a UPS tracking number.  Hooray..

April 18:  Receive a box with a front bumper "cover" for a 96-98 Grand Cherokee.   Not a metal bumper asm for Cherokee.   Send back question asking wth?  No response.

April 21:  Go take it to the next step and escalate with ebay resolution...   Get full refund for $97.

Bought new taiwan repro bumper and end caps for $99 shipped from another ebay dealer in Il.   :-\

Well, did you ever get your parts?  Inquiring minds want to know.

Year One has been very fast with my orders---Just placed a order for 4 pieces--when I was placing the order (online) it came up that 2 of them would be shipped 5 to 7 days  --I had the option of removing these items---I went ahead and ordered them and they arrived 5 days after the first two pieces. At least I knew what the status was before the order was complete :2thumbs:
