In the July 2011 Mopar Magazine , they where extolling the virtues of this product, Innovated Motorsports, in the ease of tuning your engine http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/g2_gauge.php. For those who have it, is it worth the cost  :shruggy: or should I just learn how to properly read the spark plugs like a good fortune teller :ahum:

I Installed a wide range A/F ratio gauge on my Charger. It showed me that My 750 Holley, 800 Eddy and the Thermoquad all came jetted correctly from the factory. They all meter in the low to mid 12:1's at wide open throttle . That is good to know. It also told me the Holley runs richer during normal driving. (suspected this allready). It is great for reminding me turn off the choke.

It does not tell me that two steps bigger jets make the car go 0.2 sec quicker for example. You still have to try that.

It is installed with the Trans temp and volt meter , in the console where the gauges you don't look at that often when the car is running OK. are located.

I've got an innovate LM1, the predecessor of the LM2 and I'm happy with it.
But there are some problems with sensor conditioning and grounds if you want to log rpm and/or other channels.
Not really relevant to the G2 kit you're looking at, cause it can only read AFR.

I've tuned several carbs with it, much, much easier than reading plugs or by feel.
At the moment I'm setting up an annular 750DP quick fuel on a 383.

There's only one thing that's difficult to set up with just a gauge and that's the accelerator pump circuit, things are happening to fast to follow on the gauge.

One last tip, don't follow any of the magazine articles on wideband tuning too closely(particularly those on fuel economy!), they're full of errors and mistakes.

By the way, Innovate isn't the only one:
