Hi gang,
Chances are I'll be relocating from southern CA to northern CA.  Over the years in southern CA, I've always attended both the Spring Fling and Fall Fling.  Just wondering if there are any big Mopar shows in northern CA that are as big as the Spring Fling?  I'll be in the Roseville/Sacramento area, but willing to drive a bit for a well-run Mopar show.  Thanks!!

Welcome. Never enough Mopars in the area.

This is Chevy country. Lots of shows if you're willing to drive a little, but it is Chevy everywhere. We are a very rare breed in these parts. Big Mopar shows means 175-350 cars, not like the Flings but I think every bit as top shelf quality.

June 25 Sacramento http://www.capitalcitymopars.com/

Early June Fremont http://www.moparalley.org/

October 8 Madera http://www.sanjoaquinvalleymopars.com/

Mid August Napa http://www.winecountrymopar.com/events.html

There might be others, but these are the big four. Sacramento is very well run and great location. I think Madera is even better, best organization and location, and last year it had the best quality turnout I've ever seen. (Note that I haven't made it to MATS or the East/Midwest shows :'()

Up here in Redding there's Kool April Nites: www.koolaprilnites.com.

It's not Mopar specific, but has upwards of 2000 vehicles.

It's a week-long event, but in my opinion, the best parts are the Friday night cruise and Saturday/Sunday show.

Redding Kool April Nights and the PeggySue shows are the two biggest events north of SF. I'm looking forward to Redding this year.

Hey Dean, here's another Mopar show. August 27, 2011 Mopars by the Bay. http://montereybaymopars.com/

I love Monterey, but I've never been to that show (just heard about it). It would be quite the drive for you from Sacramento, calls for an overnighter. Monterey has a ton of history to visit and is a great weekend getaway. It would be crowded though as that is peak of the season for tourists.

Welcome to the Sac area. I live in Granite Bay and am a member of the Capital City Mopars. We have our monthly car club meetings on the first Tuesday of every month at the California Auto Museum near Downtown Sac. We always welcome guests to our meetings.
Our annual show is held on grass at the Hagen park in Rancho Cordova. We expect 200-250 cars for our one day show. Few would argue that our swap in the largest MOPAR swap in Northern CA. It pales in comparison to the Immense swap at the Spring and Fall Fling shows, but our show is as good as it gets up here in Nor Cal. Our shows are always free for spectators.
