I have only intermittent spark. When the ignition is first turned to start there is a spark from the coil but then it fires only intermittently after that.  I replaced the coil, pick-up assembly, Ignition control module and ballast resistor, and disassembled the the steering column to isolate the ignition switch.  Anybody got any ideas?

OK Nacho, I checked all the connections and finally found a bad one on the back of the ignition switch.  So.. I bought a new one of those and installed it.  still no spark...  After nearly beating my head into mush against a wall I went back to scratch.  I found an earlier post of yours with a good wiring diagram of the ignition system and began tracing wires.  wellllllll... some damn fool  ::) went and hooked up the coil and the distributor backwards!!!! Once that got fixed it fired right up and ran great.  I tell ya.. it's hell getting old and blind.  Thanks for the help and thanks for the post that had the nice diagram.  Now if only you could send me some new eyes and a sharper mind I would be all set.
