I am trying to replace the lower rad cradle on my 69 charger. It is very mangled as you can see. Can anyone give me the measurement from the bottom of the upper rad cradle to the top of the lower rad cradle? Its the measurement indicated by the arrows on the pic. Can you check both sides to see if they are the same measurement? Please!

I can get you those dimensions this weekend.

Mine is 17-15/16" to 18". I'm assuming 68 and 69 would be the same.

Man these are all over the map. I have heard from two other guys on this and they both are different. Seems like 18 and 7/16 is the average.

Poor quality control back then I guess......

Thank you very much for giving me these measurements. It helps alot.

Troy

I measured mine at all the lower bolt holes and came up with 18 5/16ths.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

What do you mean by the bolt holes Troy? Want measurement do you get is you measure the rad opening?

Troy

I measured (approximately) where your lines are in the picture. The lower rad support has 3 or 4 holes in it. Assuming they are in the same place on all cars (or maybe just A/C cars?) then those are the exact points that I measured.

Cool. Sorry I misunderstood. Thanks for the measurements! I really appreciate it.  :2thumbs:
