I have a pair of '71 Charger R/T taillights bezels that need to be restored. They are not bent,
rusty or damaged. What would be the best way to restore them?  Sand/prime/paint? Sandblast/prime
/paint? Clean with soap/water, then prime/paint? They are originally black in color. Is there a rattle
can color on the market to paint them?  Thanks

R/T tail lights are actually three colors scheme ( silver, gray, black ), UNLESS PAINTED BUMPERS, where it were all black.

Then 72 rallyes got blacks on chromed bumpers.

I think chemical products to remove old paint is enough. No need for sandblast. Then clean good and paint. No need for primer, normally can enamels are ready to paint directly over metal

just my opinion.
