Just a lark but a guy at work said when he saw Baltar with the beard and long hair praying he had a flash....what if they get to earth 2,000+ years prior to now and Baltar becomes Jesus.  :eek2:

Probably more like Joseph Smith promoting polygamy.

One more thing. Just wondering what you all think of that last moment when Kara's Viper disappeared inside the nebula with Lee watching. She returns six hours later (her perspective) and yet everyone on Galactica thinks she's been gone for months. Is it possible that the explosion Lee saw was just the fireworks of her Viper entering a wormhole or maybe a conduit created by the Cylons? If so wouldn't time travel explain the discrepency?

Also, I watched the latest episode on scifi.com so the sound wasn't all that great but did Chief Tyrol say her Viper had an incorrect ID number?

Brock Samson

he did indeed,..  says it's a brand new viper... not a nick or a scratch... hello number 12.

I thought the Chief said the tail fin numbers were correct however the Viper was brand new, not a scratch and no memory on the onboard computer. Her viper was  beat to hell when she exploded.

I don't know. It just seems too easy, too convenient. I think there's more to it.

TheAutoArchaeologist

Kara is not #12.....

In this picture below, #12 is not seen, it has been said.

I agree, if this show has been anything predictable is not one of them.

I can't believe none of you guys posted anything about the newest show yet :P

So, Cylon civil war! WOO HOO!!! :popcrn:

Is Baltar really a cylon :scratchchin:

And Starbuck gets her way and her own ship to do it :yesnod:

I got lost in the whole thing as to where Apollo was going  :shruggy:    Can one of you guys explain that to me? I just caught about someone's wing man :-\

And next week, another show reg getting the axe :o :'(

He's becoming sort of a senator, they call it a "Quorum" member.  Each of the 12 colonies gets a representative, and I Apollo is taking over one of the spots.

Anyone follow if he is divorcing Dee?  He said goodbye, but nothing about divorce?

GREAT episode though, it is good to see Adr. Adama step up again.

Thanks about Lee. And it seems they forgot to fill in the gaps about Lee's marrige doesn't it :scratchchin:

This weeks show was a lot better then last weeks for sure. :2thumbs:

Yes seems Dee and Lee are done...he said "you got the house".

Cylon civil war....good stuff.

Baltar gets banged...again!

I don't think Baltar is the last Cylon.

Nice to see Racetrack remove her sweater though. :2thumbs:

Who screwed up that poster? There should be two Ks in frakking. ::)

I have some observations that will probably end up sounding more like questions...

What do you think of Baltar being in his own head now? What better make-believe buddy to have than himself? Has his self-love finally come full circle?

Anyone else here wonder if Starbuck and her crew are the only one's who will see Earth when she heads back? I can see a huge battle coming while she's gone where it's Cylons vs. Cylons vs. humans and no one lives, save for maybe a few who limp back to where they started. There was a line in Razor that had to do with the original hybrid (I think that's what he was) saying that Kara Thrace will lead humanity to its destruction. The message was never delivered to the fleet since that base star was nuked but I'm wondering what exactly that meant.

I'm having trouble with Tigh being a Cylon BTW. If he's been around as long as the old man that would have been long before Six and the other skin jobs ever showed up on Caprica. They say there was a 40-year silence between the first war and the start of the second and Tigh's like 64 or so isn't he? Come to think of it I'm having my doubts about all four of these supposed new Cylons except maybe Anders due to the whole eye scan thing because I'm kind of wondering now why it matters. Why exactly are we supposed to care who's a Cylon anymore? Is the revelation of who's a Cylon supposed to be a surprise for the sake of it being a surprise?

And the double standards with regards to how the Cylons are treated is puzzling to me. Cylon Boomer is enjoying full flight status as a pilot and yet everyone's worried that Starbuck is a Cylon now (and what were the results of the doctor's exam on her)? The Galactica crew seems pretty inconsistant in how they treat Boomer vs. Starbuck but I guess after they beat the snot out of the skin jobs and kill them a few times then they're considered to be part of the team. Some kind of weird initiation process I guess. If I were Adama I'd be pretty nervous to be in the same room as Sharon after getting popped with two rounds.

Anyway, regarding the Six of One episode, a very good show overall but it seemed to gloss over some things I thought would have been more important (very little discussion by the crew of Starbuck's odd return followed by her hasty departure) and too much time spent on things I considered to be minor (Lee's departure) but there's probably more to it than what I'm seeing. As soon as Starbuck showed up Adama was immediately pi$$ed off at her. Whether I believed her story or not I'd still be asking what Earth was like and what all she saw but no one said hardly a word about it. It reminded me of shows where someone tells someone else that a loved one has died and they just stand there with their mouth open instead of demanding answers and asking the who, what, where, when and why questions. And Lee's sendoff almost seemed to me like a funeral the way they went on and on about it, as if he was leaving forever. Maybe Colonial One will be the next to go and Lee's final blow against the Cylons will be ramming it into a base star like he did with Pegasis. Actually, I'd like to see that Resurrection ship go down. Those remaining skin jobs would really be freaking out then.

That's about it. A lot of the above sounds like I'm complaining but really I'm not. It's still the best thing I've ever seen on television, except maybe the classic Bugs Bunny/Roadrunner show.

Dodge Don

My bet is that Lee will end up President.

I think the Admiral needs to go to Baltar for some advice on how to hook up with the President.  :yesnod:

TheAutoArchaeologist

Wow... that was a crazy episode.  Cylons killing Cylons, Cally dying.... wow

Ryan

TruckDriver

Well, is Cally really dead? I saw her in next weeks preview. Was that a dream, or was it reality :shruggy: I always thought Cally was hot. And you gotta wonder if all the cylons to be destroyed actually were. I'm willing to bet not. Somehow, I have a feeling they will return and actually end up saving the Gallactica's ass somewhere. And, I'm still not a 100% convinced that these other 4 are really cylons. They might be, but there is that 1% that tells me they are not. And it looks like all hell is going to break loose between them too now next week.

No bad.

I agree that somehow the Cylon civil war will save humanity somehow at the last second

I think Cally is dead. Tory is turning into a pretty bad character fast....that happens when you frack Baltar  :yesnod:

I'm not convinced that the Chief and the Colonel are Cylons. How could the Colonel be born before the Cylons even started experimenting with the idea. Something isn't right.

Never seen the Base ships move so fast....must have installed Mopar engines.

I was wondering what became of the VP.

Starbucks adventure looks pretty weak so far. Ship O' Fools going in circles.

You don't actually know their war record.  Adama and Col. Tigh met after the first war.  He has memory of the first war, but that can be faked

That was some crazy stuff.  They never needed to move that fast before.  Except when Pegasus came a running

But the "skin jobs" were in the process of being created during the first war so how could Tigh have served with Adama during that time? He would have been a prototype at best.

Wo knows, maybe we'll see Callie wake up in the semi-opaque pool of Cylon ooze next week. :scratchchin:
