I'm going to take a leap of faith... i know it's a long shot, But I think Galactica is the last cylon.... too many wierd things happening on that ship. and instead of being the last, what if it was really the first.

Hmmmm. Very interesting. :scratchchin: I don't necessarily agree since it's so far from what would be expected (a huge departure from what we've been led to believe). There are good surprises in story-telling and there are surprises that piss people off and I would consider something like that to be a letdown. At any rate, I just hope the ending of this series is as good or better than the series itself.

But the "skin jobs" were in the process of being created during the first war so how could Tigh have served with Adama during that time? He would have been a prototype at best.

Wo knows, maybe we'll see Callie wake up in the semi-opaque pool of Cylon ooze next week. :scratchchin:

We don't know when the skin jobs were created.  We just know that sometime before the Valkyre mission that Tigh and Adama met.  There was an episode about how they met in a bar.

He might be the first one, they aren't in any order.

Well, I don't claim to know any BSG fact for certain because it's up to the writers/producers which reality they want to pursue. And I don't know for sure where the Valkyrie mission fits into the timeline, however, the Razor flashbacks led us to believe that the Cylons were still experimenting with what appears to have resulted in some fairly rudimentary "skin jobs" toward the end of the first war in which Adama and Tigh fought side by side, right?

They did. He was one of the kids who got off Caprica on Boomers Raptor as the nukes were falling....and his father was the officer killed at the armistace station at the very beginning of the mini-series. He made it to Galactica....then no word. Like Bulldog....poof.

Okay then...... :shruggy:

I got absolutly nothing out of this episode..... nothing other then everyone is going crazy. :P

Next weeks show looks wild though :yesnod:

I dunno, maybe it's me, but after the year long hiatus, and all the hoopla, I've lost some interest in the show
And it's only been compounded by the angle they've decided to head with the show.

Just enjoyed it more before the hype, and the ridiculous waits between seasons.

Don't get me wrong, I still make sure to catch each episode (especially since iTunes doesn't carry Sci-Fi Channel shows anymore), but the as the song says, "the thrill is gone".

Pete, if McCain looses an eye before the election, I'm freakin' out!  :D

Yea, I think I'm with you guys one this one. I think what it is is that nothing really seems to be moving the story along very effectively. Well, I guess since we don't really know where it's all heading maybe it is moving the way it should but basically the show now is just just a bunch of infighting. The humans are fighting humans and the Cylons are fighting Cylons. Other than in the first episode there hasn't been any Cylon raids on the fleet. Even the Cylons on Galactica are fighting each other.

I don't know where this is going but I hope it all makes sense in the end. I'd hate to see this show peter out into nothing after the near-perfection that was the first three seasons.

Johnny SixPack

Kinda like they've gone the 'space soap opera' route with what had the potential to be an amazing season.

It's still early on,  so maybe I'm just bitching for no reason.

But, on the other hand, with all the weird, "Season 2", "Season 2.5", bs in '05/'06, hell... they might give us five more episodes and then take a four month break.  :D

Staying on topic though, I really hope someone beats the hell out of the Chief.
Skin job or not, he's turning into a class 'A' pr*ck.

Maybe cleaning the ship's heads for a spell will clear his head. :scratchchin:

I think he went that route because of the accident he caused. Think about it, he wanted to get himself out of a position that could harm more people consciously or unconsciously. I think it was a good move for him.

Didn't Callie just die, though?  If your young wife just died, I don't think you'd be the most pleasant person to be around.  I know from experience that I sure as hell wouldn't be.

This started before Callie died.

Hell, he's the one saying that everyone's got it wrong to mourn her.

Adama tried to let the Chief (well, ex-Chief) pull himself back from the edge, but Tyrol jumped with both eyes open it seems.

I haven't seen any episodes since season 2, I believe, so I really have no idea what's going on right now.

Okay we are drifting into bizarro world. Last nights episode was good but the whole story arc is getting bizarre and is losing it's anchor to believable gritty reality. I liked Sgt Mathias (RIP).

A basestar to join the fleet?  :2thumbs:

That would just kick ass!

Agree. Great epsisode. Best since S4 premiere.

Notice that a notable cast member dies every week......the herd is being culled?
