Another similar pair - these two cars were part of a large batch of sunroof cars that were scheduled in February. They are only 2 VIN digits apart.

Number 12 - This car was spotted in the California trader mag called Recycle way back in 1987. It has changed hands several times since then and several of the owners are members here on DC.com - If they want to chime in they may. This car is now with a collector in Alberta, and was just recently restored. Reported to be a Dealer Demo 2 tag car.

Number 13 - This one a few may recognize - owned by singer Red Kilby - who is no longer with us. A fairly loaded T5 Copper/ White top/ Tan interior car. I believe the car is still in the Kilby family. The car made the cover of one of Red's albums. Even Jay Leno was impressed with the car.

lol not even close. i love that trailer, its is awesome. sits low to the ground, no suspension but rides nice, lightweight and fits in a regular driveway as its short. ive put thousands apon thousands of miles on that thing. its been from california to vermont before and cross country several times. i even hauled a 4 door 58 cadilac on there before. i just use regular 14" car tires on it and in the 15 years ive owned it, ive never had a blowout. typical flat tire from screws and stuff but cheapo $50 new tires work great. most of my buddies with open trailers and have true trailer tires go thru tires

Yes, I know for a fact that it is an R/Tse. It just lost almost all of the "special" stuff in the past 48 years.

Here are a couple of 69 sunroof R/T SEs that are a little colorful.

Number 14 - This car is the only one known (69 R/TSE sunroof) so far to have a custom color - coded 99 on the tag, it was painted Bahama Yellow (only available on the 69 Roadrunner). It was purchased by a military guy around 1984 for only $400. The restoration is coming along slowly - the owner had a bad experience with a local resto shop. So he pulled the car and is working on the car himself.

Number 15 - I first spotted this car on the Cars in Barns Canada website. F6 Green with a White stripe and F8 green interior. Someone has this car squirreled away - hope there is some progress - it will be a looker when done. Highly optioned dealer demo car. If anyone knows how the progress is going on this car - I would love an update!

A couple more that are out there:

Number 16 - This one is for all the Green car fans - Triple Green - F8/V1F/CRG! Owner purchased this car back in the 80s for $1500 and proceeded to make it into a go fast car - including tubbing for big meats. If anyone knows an Ed from NJ that has a tubbed triple green 69 sunroof Charger - please let him know I would love to hear more about his car!

Number 17 - Another NJ car I believe - this one popped up on eBay several years back - then disappeared. Owner gave some very basic info on the car to the 69 Registry in 2006 and has never checked back. A4 Silver R/T SE sunroof with a ------ 4 speed! Unfortunately I do not have a picture of this car - did anyone save any pictures of it when it was on eBay? Again - if anyone has any info on the current status of this car - I would love to know.

The last two R/T SE sunroof cars only exist on paper to my knowledge - a broadcast sheet and a dealer invoice. If anyone has spotted either one of these cars in the wild, I would love to hear about them!

Number 18 - An R6 Red car with CRX Black interior and white tail stripe. Major options include Power Disc Brakes, A/C, Tach, and R22 AM Radio with 8 track.

Number 19 - A B3 Light Blue car with a Black top and V88 stripe delete. A Y28 "company" car delivered to the Jefferson Ave assembly plant. Major options include A36 Axle Package, Power Disc Brakes, A/C, Luggage Rack, Tach, Cruise, and R22 AM Radio with 8 Track. This one lined out at around $5,500 - whew!

Nice info on the sunroof cars.   The red Canadian car, I passed on when it was for sale @ $18k. I didn't like it due to the non original engine. But in hindsight, should have made a deal.  :Twocents:

Thanks for posting all those sunroof cars, those are really neat!

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Not a great photo, but another of the F6RTSE sunroof from when it was in TX for sale.  Nice solid car with very very little rust as I recall. Several on here know where it went I imagine, but last I heard up to Canada.

XS29LA47V21

Ran across some old pictures I had from yrs past looking, this was early 2000's, bronze of sorts RTSE sunroof.  I do not recall price or much about it, besides I chose not to buy it at the time...

Someone likely knows more about this one which is really not that long ago with the lovely background scenery and photographic backdrop...  :hah:
